if i use a non-mitsu oil filter will my oil pressure drop? i seem to remember hearing that a while ago. im past due for an oil change and there is no mitsu parts place open in the area and im thinking of just throwing in my usual mobile1 and a fram filter. please help asap!

I have used almost every brand filter on my car with no difference in oil pressure. Even once swapping to a Mitsu filter just for pressure reasons. There was never a difference in oil pressure.

All readings were from a mechanical autometer gauge.

This was on my car, so you might have different results on your car. :p

ok, thanks. ill just get my frammy and then change my oil. it needs it bad... next time i get the chance to change it ill have put another 300 miles on my car!
