Thumping noise from the rear, only under hard acceleration in 1st and part of 2nd. The CV boots look good. Is this the carrier bearing I've been reading about?

most like its the carrier bearing :thumbdown does it sound like something is hitting the floor of your car? use the simple silicone fix..so far its been good to me :p

Yep, something is definitely hitting the floor. More fun with sockets and jackstands I guess.
