 I'm still having high idle problem but what I'm concern about is them temp. is going way high. And also there is a whistling noise everytime I'm on the gas sounds like it's coming from the engine bay. It almost sounds like it's spooling a tiny turbo?????

Based on your high idle issue and the whistle I would venture to say that you have either a gasket or a vacuum leak in the throttle body area.

I check for leaks in the vac. lines but could not find any? I also just ordered a intake manifold gasket, things I've tried and replace are the icm, tps, and the throttle body gasket. Could an exhaust leak sound like that and cause the high idle?

Oh by the way I was playing around with the car today and I started to pump the brake pedal while it was idling and the idle went up from 2k to 3k. Do you guys think my idle problem has to do with the brake system?

Hmm, whistles are a pain. I had an issue with the vacuum elbow coming off the top of the TB (Ithink it eventually goes does to the evap canister). I found mine was deteriorated a little and would leak when the engine warmed up. Replacing it helped. I then replaced my exhaust from the cat back and now I do not hear any whistles. I am not knowledgeable enough to know what the correlation is between the 1000-rpm spikes and the pumping of the brakes. I am pretty sure the brakes use vacuum to assist in stopping, but I usually see a drop in RPMs when I hit the brakes while idling.

:thumb: Hey guys, I finally fixed my idle and whisling problem. After spending money on some sensors and all. The problem was the damn intake manifold gasket and now she idling like it's brand new car. thanks for all the info............. ;)
