So I recently swapped the motor out of one of my 1gs to the other 1g. The battery dies almost instantly when hooked up to the car. I got this same battery checked about a month and a half ago and it was good. When the car is hooked up with jumper cables it tries to fire and turn over the first crank and then after that it just cranks like it doesnt have spark.
I've tried to change my cas, rotated both of them 180 degrees, checked timing, changed the coil pack, checked spark plugs and their gap, changed plug wires, changed injector resistor pack. I also checked and made sure no fuses were blown, I changed the alternator fuse, ECU, and mpi relay, made sure all of my grounds were good. I changed the dash so I checked all the connections under the dash to make sure they were all connected. At this point im really lost on what the problem could be.
Its hard to check for spark all by myself, and I'm not exactly sure how to work the cheap multimeter I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also the car is getting fuel and the pump is turning on.
