1G No start .....

Ok hey what would cause a no start UNLESS!!!! you run a power wire to the came angle sensor ...


I was thinking bad ecu since my buddy just redid it but who knows hes not for sure but it will start and idle fine with a hot wire ran to it....


Any help would be sweet...

I think its gonna be a huge and costly to find a 1990 turbo-5/speed-awd ecu ?
I called the parts store and just laughed HAHA!

Depends on which pin on the CAS your powering? If you're feeding the 12v then it's likely the ECU isn't turning on the MPI relay, the MPI fuse is blown, or the relay is bad.

Well thanks for your help ill tell him to check the MPI relay tomorrow but im like 99% sure its the ECU i know its gonna be hard to find one that works.


On the good side the car is sooo nice for a 1g its not even funny. Im gonna clean it up and i guess i can grab some pics ...

It dose have 120k but its had 19,334 miles on it since 2002 .

And i found out its got more mods then i thought and also under the hood is uber clean and oil free ... and im talking clean not like some one power washed the motor... all the wiring is spotless no build up NOTHING ! what a relief .
