My 2g isn’t getting fuel to the rail. I bought the car to build, it’s totally stock now. I had the car running a week ago starting it to let it run for awhile and shut it off, now only cranks. I have check the pump with straight 12v and it works. Checked and replaced the fuel pump relay. Checked for spark and have spark. I even checked the coolant sensor and everything is fine. Pulled off the fuel one and nothing. I took off the fuel line at the pump assembly and cranked it over: nothing. I need it to run to get inspected and emissions before I put the big motor in and have no idea. I checked the fuses and I highly doubt the ECU is blown. The crank sensor seems ok since I have spark unless I am missing something.

Changed the sock and pushed fuel when had 12v to the pump. It did sit for a while but was ran throughout that time. Also I had it running the pass year driving around, idling. I did just see a post about the crank sensor and when you crank the engine the tach should read 200 and a light should come on before. The car isn’t doing either but I am getting spark.

Sounds like your fuel pump isn't being turned on. On the 4g63T the ECU only turns on the Fuel pump relay (via ECU pin 8 going low) when it sees CAS (not CPS) pulses (so engine must be cranking or running). So you most likely have a problem with the CAS, ECU, or wiring.

Thanks for the information I will definitely check that when I get back from work this week and will update.

I didn’t check the fuel filter but will if I have time to mess with it tomorrow. Thanks for the information guys.
