No Spark, cylinders 2 and 3.

I'm not getting spark on cylinders 2 and 3. I tested the power transistor and tested good. I also got a different coil pack the noticed that this one gave spark to 1 and 4. I noticed that the ones that give spark are the coils with two red wires attactched, are the ones that give spark.

Might have bad plug wires? Check each wire by pulling the plugs out individually. If 2 and 3 dont get spark but you get spark at the coil you probably have bad wires. If not I would replace the coil again.

Don't forget to have the coil tested. Both coils give spark to their corresponding spark plugs.

Plug wires on 4g63s get messed up all the time. I would check the wires. If the coil pack and plugs are good that is...

I had the same problem. I had a 98-99 black flashable ecu
And I swapped that out for my '95 eprom and turns out the black ecu
Was bad.

I tried, Coil pack, power transistor (igniter) , plugs, wires, and ecu. On every Coil pack it doesn't give signal on cylinder 2 and 3. Doesn't seem like anything got shot. What else can it be? Can any sensor cause this?

When I was having trouble with cylinder s 2&3 the problem ended up being the wiring to the coils/injectors. They should be in the same loom and if I remember it was 3 wires. There should be a connector below the fuel rail or on the firewall for this circuit. Check that for corrosion and inspect the wiring on both sides. That part of the harness got wrapped down around my passenger side axle and chewed through 2 wires.
