i have seen a few things about this problem and nothing is working for me. i put a 1g cas on instead of a 2g cas and still no spark, i put 3 different coils on for the 2 an 3 cyl and that doesnt work, and i used my friends power transistor to see if its mine and its not the problem either, with a test light on the signal wire and power wire on the coil where it screws on there is power but there isnt any power at all coming out to the plug wires on all 3 coils i tried. please help

Did you wire it in correctly? Below is a diagram to verify that you did it right...

If you wired it up correctly did you make sure that the CAS was positioned at TDC and not 180* out? Picture below showing TDC, see how the two alignment marks are lined up appropriately?

Make sure you pull out a timing light and set base timing to 5* after you get the car started up.
