Hey,

I quite possibly have the most problematic DSM on this forum. But I'm proud. Moving on. I have already fixed a number of things with this car and am still waiting to get the money to replace the lifters. So last night the car begin doing this.

THE PROBLEM

I start driving and everything seems normal. As soon as I hit about 3000 RPMs in any gear the stock boost gauge ( shit I know ) go's to full power and the car just has barely any power. By power i mean ability to accelerate. I could give it full throttle and it barely excels. Any possible idea's? Could the issue be with the BOV. I have had my eye on that shotty bastard for a while now. Just lookin for an excuse to take em out. If you need any info LMK

SOLUTION

For the love of god tell me...

Vehicle Specs :

1998 Eclipse GS-T
79,000 Miles
Big 16G Turbo
Everything else is stock as far as I know.

The first thing would be to check if your timing belt is in all the right spots. Even a couple skipped teeth and loss of power. Or you have a boost leak goign into bosst thats not present puttering around town. Check clamps, make sure bolts are tighht, etc
