I have a 2010 lancer gts and ive had my battery die twice in me. I got it jumped the second time and while driving my check engine light abs light came on and I lost all power to my car. I put a new battery and a new alternator and I'm still having the same problem someone please help.

Hopefully it didnt short nothing in you ECU(Computer) when you got that Jump. Did you ever take it to autozone and they can run a load test on car running also pull any ODBII engine codes. Do you have a Check Engine Light?

I have had a chance to get it to them to have them do a test[DOUBLEPOST=1412620499][/DOUBLEPOST]have not*

Obviously our electrical systems are very different, but when a friend of mine switched the leads during a jump, it fried my ECU, MAS, fuses, and other things. If something went wrong during the jump (shorting, pos to neg, etc.) that could definitely wreak havoc.

Just a little bit of info for all, the correct order of the jumper called is as follows. Positive live (battery), positive dead then negative live, negative dead. Always double checking they are the correct terminals, (positive usually has the alternator power wire attached) oh and its red LOL. But sometimes the are wrapped in tape or wire loom.

DO NOT COUNT ON THE POSITIVE TERMINAL BEING RED!!!!! That is why my friend switched the leads. In his Mini, his positive terminal is black and his negative terminal is reddish brown.

ALWAYS CHECK THE MARKINGS ON THE BATTERY!

-edit-

This is a thread about helping a guy solve a problem, not about how to properly jump a car.

In addition to getting the CEL scanned, have you checked any of the fuses? Also I doubt this is an issue given how new your car is, but corrosion on the positive leads between the alternator, battery, and the rest of the car have been known to cause this problem.
