losing power while at WOT

okay...i know nothing about dsm's... this car was donated to me... 1997 Eclipse GS-T spyder. mods consisit of HKS SSQ which is venting, a intake filter only, Greddy IC piping and Greddy SP exhaust... now to the problem....

while driving normally the car will go just fine, however when at WOT or close to it the car starts losing power rather violently. seems like it's hitting a fuel cut of some sort.... what can be causing this? i was think MAF sensor, but i'm going to listen to the experts on here first and see whacha guys think.

If it's Fuel Cut you have a boost leak.

Go over all the connections on the Intercooler piping and inspect and tighten them.

ummm..i might be a retard but i searched that site and can't find the "tester" to test for boost leaks
