so the problem i've been experiencing for the past 1-2 weeks or so is that the oil pressure gauge on my dash is showing VERY low, however my oil pressure light isn't on.

recently, i just had an s-afc2 installed that was from a 99 gsx. does the s-afc2 have anything to do with this? is my afpr toast? what should i do/check?

If it's the stock oil pressure guage I wouldn't worry to much about it as they tend to read low, especially at idle. How long has it been since you've changed your oil? Is it a 5w30 weight oil? If it is a light oil like 5w30 and it's been a while since it was last changed you will see lower oil pressure when engine is fully warmed up. As for the SAFC causing that... I don't think so. And as far as your afpr causing low oil pressure...LOL I don't think that's it either.
