no boost new turbo!

hey guys i havnt been able to get any boost out of my gst so i bought a new 16g i put it in today but it still isnt boosting my boost-vac gauge wont read any boost and my gauge will idle at 10 vac then when i rev it up it will go to 20. What would u guys look for? i tryed a leak test and didnt find anything any ideas?????

Did you hook up the wastegate rod to the flapper?

yup it runs great just no boost last time it was boost it sound like somethign poped off! sometimes i just wish the car would talk to me!

wait wait.. you revved your motor and the boost gauge read MORE vacuum? that's a$$ backwards.

I would just go back and comb through EVERYTHING you have done. make sure your vac/boost lines are all hooked up correctly, your wastegate is bolted on and functioning, your MBC is setup correctly, and your boost gauge is functioning.

that's basically all there is to a turbo setup. just retrace your steps.
