I have researched a lot on this site an love it. I am usually pretty good at finding out my answers but at this point i need some guidance because this is a big decision and i dont want to have to undo any mods because i dont like them and i dont have the wallet too.
My set up is current in my profile but if your lazy like me you wont look so here ya go.
6bolt swap, arp everything, engine balancing, total engine rebuild, 1g (7:8.1) compression.
shep stage two trans, act2600, fidanza fw,
ebay16g knock off, fmic 27X7X3, custom piping, 1g bov,
linkv3 , walbro 255, 880 precisions, turbo xs boost controller
My future plans this month are, gm maf, cyclone intake, and getting some of my intercooler piping welded to get rid of a few couplers. I need to upgrade my turbo . I talked to justin from greensburg pa on here an he said he could take my 16g exhaust side an throw a 20g compressor in. I love the spool of the 16g but i wanna beat up on some vettes,and i want to take this car from being quick to stupid fast so im looking for suggestions. i have been real interested in hx35 and tdo5 20. Im not sure what to pick because i like my low spool up that i have now. I have seen people go 11s on a hx35 with stock engines so that kinda what im going for. I set this engine up for 400 hp ish.
On the suspension side of things i had a tokico lowering kit with illuminas but even after 2 trips to the alignment shop and rear diy camber kit i still chewed up tires because my factory rear toe adjustments were seized and my camber was way out so i had to take the springs off an put my stockers on. My tire wear was through the roof so any comments on this would be sweet cause it was very frustrating. My personal thoughts i didnt like the way the upper control arms were burried in the wheel well, It didnt look like it was healthy for the bushings and suspenion parts over all while it was installed.
I am on a college kid budget so big 1000 dollar turbos are out the window for me but i want all suggestions to make this thing more of a beast and not all top end this is a daily an i love my torque right now.
