I just installed my gauge pod last night and was wondering if I should ditch my middle gauge for something different. Its air/fuel ratio.

Yea definitely get rid of that thing. My buddy is selling an ngk wideband. Pm me

As for the pod itself what do u guys think? I didn't want a pillar pod but I was kind of forced to. I tried to match the paint as close as possible

I think the pod looks good. I dont really want a pillar pod either, but i think i will be stuck doing the same thing. I agree with the rest also, ditch the a/f ratio and get wideband.

You might want to paint the pod to match your car A-pillar. As for the a/f, even if it is a narrow band it is fine, as long as you don't tune by it. It gives you a snap shot of what your car is doing when you drive. But if you want to spend an additional $200+, that is up to you.

My cars a pillar is beige, I removed it and painted the pod the same (well almost) color LOL. My interior is black/beige. I want a wideband but I'm tight on money right now

IMO, i would switch the middle gauge to a wideband O2. I like the AEM gauge for that middle one.

I really want the aem one. Is there a way to change the color of the bulb on it? My oil pressure and boost gauge light up orange to match the cluster lights. Also where can I get that gauge/kit for cheap

I would just search around places like ebay, extremepsi, street tuned motorsports. The color of the bulb i don't know if it can be changed but you could always call aem and ask them.

AEM widebands are supposed to be super difficult and expensive to change the color but I'll see when I get mine here in the next couple weeks Gonna try and change mine to blue) but definitely go for Wideband, or else it's just not worth having

The AEM widebands come with a black and white face plate that can be changed in or out, the LCD (number display) is red. If you want a differnt color such as Blue or something check out the Innovate LC-1 Wideband o2's.

The beige looks good to me from the picture. Some people might not like it, but the a-pillar gauge pod is the easiest to incorporate IMO. As everyone said, just switch the narrowband to a wideband when you have the funds. You'll be glad you did in the end.

I hated the idea of a a pillar pod at first. I tried the cluster bezel pod and none of my gauges fot so I was forced to get the pillar. I'm happy with it so far I just hate the ricer look to any car with a pilar pod unless it matches the interior

What IS a narrow band good for? Someone like me who doesn't tune or have a logger and is running 14-15 lbs on stock car wth no plans to uprade but wants to keep an eye out agaist running lean

id get a wideband, its alot more accurate and the narrowband is really nothing but a light show. If your all stock running 15 psi id say to not even worry about air/fuel. If you get one get the wideband
