Last week I decided to cheap out and order an ssautochrome turbo (their new stuff seems to be doing pretty well with the honda crowd). The description said T4/t61. I received the package about 30 minutes ago. As soon as I ripped it open I said to myself "Damn thats a big wheel". I pulled both housings off and mic'd the wheels................they actually sent me a T70 (yep, a freakin t70).

Compressor
inducer 69.18mm
exducer 90mm

Turbine wheel is a P-trim and the turbine housing looks to be a .58 (still trying to decide whether I want to use the .58 or the .68 I have laying around). The bearing housing looks like it may be a real turbonetics housing judging by the shaved turbonetics emblem.

I really didn't want anything this big but I'm gonna try it and see how well it works out. How well would a P-trim t70 spool on a 2.0?

I gave you the wrong one and you need to send it back to me so i can send you the right one. You got this off ebay? If i buy a turbo of anykind it wont be off off ebay regardless of there feedback.

Hey bro good luck with that turbo. If you can spool it,it should really move.Keep us posted on how it does.I would like to know how much difference it is over the 60trim you had before.

Two words, GET ONE. I finally got it running and took it out for a drive. The first thing I noticed was that the BOV was considerably louder at partial throttle. Originally the plan was to drive it slow and break in the clutch. Once I got onto the main road I drove it slow in first shifted to second then I decided to give it about 50-60% throttle, OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The time that it took to go from 5000rpm to 8500 can only be expressed in milliseconds. This thing pulls waayyyyyy harder than my 60 trim at just half throttle and its not much laggier. During that pull my downpipe separated from the catback (Dang ole band clamps). Also on the drive home I decided to give it half throttle again and soon as boost was about to come on my hood flies up and busts my windshield (hood pins fell out) :notgood: . Truthfully, Im kinda afraid to go full throttle once I get everything straight OMG .
