One of my friend makes headers and manifolds for hondas, and he decided he would do mistus as well. Since I have a 2g mine became the prototype. I have some pics of the runners just tacked together to check everything for clearancing and fitment. Everything fits REALLY well and there are no problems with it hitting anything. It clears the power steering by about 3/4" and the upper radiator hose by 3/4" as well. The dipstick is about 3/4" away as well. Everything fits REALLY nice. He is hoping to finish it this weekend. It will be tig welded together and have a t3 flange .. however a mitsu flange will be optional. Mine is also being set up for an external wastegate.
sorry for all the pics ... just wanted to cover all the angles. I will post up finished pics asap. I might polish it as well .. not sure yet. What you guys think so far?

. mine would be for a mitsu turbo, because i have a 1g, and an internal wastegate. let me know if hell be willing to do it. thanks man!
I'm honestly not really looking to gain more than a few horses ... it's mainly to help with spool up on bigger turbos and it just looks badass. I didn't wanna weld onto the stock cast manifold and it was slowly starting to crack over time anyways. I just got an awesome deal on this because it's the prototype so it was worth it for me to get this instead of another stocker. And it just looks badass so far. ( I'm sure it'll gain a little hp and torque .. but stock manifolds have run 10s all day long so it's not something that NEEDS to be upgraded for the average person ) As far as the heat, I might have it ceramic coated to give it a cleaner look and that's supposed to help with the heat issue as well. I don't think its going to cause too much of a heat problem as it is ... but I will let everyone know how it does as soon as I'm back on the road.
