I just got basically my first import its a 1993 Eclipse GSX 5 speed 4G63 turbo, I wanna do alot to this, but with keeping the bottom end stock. This is a 6 bolt engine, the only thing I did to the bottom end is just rebearing, and rering it, with oil shaft and balance shaft deleted everything is stock, I have 272 cams, AEM adjustable cam gears, head is ported with oversized stainless valves, it came with an exhaust Thermal Research and Development is the brand, has a lightweight flywheel, and a ACT clutch, rebuilt trans, stage one axles iIbelieve good up too 400hp which is what I was told stock bottom ends are good for. Now comes the fun part im alittle lost so id like advice on what else to get. What Turbo? (was going to switch to the T3 style) Bigger Injectors? ECU upgrade? Intake? Fuel Rail? Fuel Pump? Give me ideas here id love to make around 350hp if thats possible. Thanks Mark.

I think you have quite an overkill start, but not bad. You could follow a path but if it were me I would dive in. I think a good turbo to start with would be a big 16G, I know that's pretty much what everyone does but its effective and you can hit a solid amount of boost and consistency. Its also easy to come by and won't break the bank. Then again if you have some money I would suggest a Bullseye s252 or 256 with either a dsm or T3 hotside. As far as your fuel rail you don't need to even touch that unless you are going to like 2000cc injectors. You will want a Walbro 255 fuel pump. You also won't need to change your intake for the results you want. Definitely gonna need a front mount inter cooler with a larger turbo. Last but not least you will need something to tune with. An safc will work but the preferred tuning apparatus would be dsm link. you can get dsmlink v3 lite for like $400. With link you will have full customizable tuning capability as opposed to just your air fuel ratio. So I hope this give you a good start.

You didn't mention anything about an intake so if your still running the stock box, i'd recommend starting there since you already got an exhaust on there. here's RRE's recommended upgrade path for a 1G which was mentioned earlier which is a pretty good overall guide:

RRE 1st Generation Eclipse  Upgrade Path

However, you should always tackle all maintenance and repair issues first before starting your upgrade path. so if there is anything your car first needs, give to her. She'll thank you later down the road.
