new to dsm im a honda guy n i need help ###!!!

ight i bought a 94 eagle talon fwd automatic with a shifting problem but it was to clean to pass it up but on to my problem ok. the car starts if YOU put it in drive it don't do NOTHING UNTILL YOU rev it to about 3000 RPMS then it goes into gear it will whine a LITTLE at first then drive for about 20 MINUTES shifts fine (not BANGING into gears not SLIPPING NOTHING) perfect. then if will just start revinG up like, im in nuetrul again an not go into gear unless YOU let the car sit for About 10 mins then repeat the process again! right now its sittin at my shop im tryin to thing about WHAT i should do i have tried lookin for a new transmission can't find ONE ANY where got prices on rebuild they off the charts SOMEONE help me out tell me if its actually the transMISSION or a senor problem or a tcm or does SOMEONE wanna buy this thing so i can put a motor back in my civic SOMEONE ANYONE help ###
