Man! 10.6@127 on a e3 16g is GETTIN' IT DONE! Very impressive! Does the turbo have a billet compressor? Or still on the MHI wheel?
 
It's a real mhi e3 16g no billet wheels. Only thing altered is it has an 8cm housing on it. I did go 10.81 on the 7cm housing tho.
 
Yes this was on e85, at the track I see a peak of about 25psi dropping to about 20 on the top end.

Here is a log if anyone is interested. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT MY AFR'S, the gauge doesn't read correctly in link. Actual afr's were between 11.8 and 12.3.

Congrats on the time man! What are your track's rules regarding a roll cage? Only reason I'm asking is because my track requires one if you are 10.99 or faster.
 
Super impressive, damn that E85 wakes a car up. Its really amazing. I dunno if you already stated this but what turbo are you stepping up to if your retiring the 16g?

Wouldn't quite say that yet. His time slip has the exact mph as mine but me on the 14B. Hes a 10.69 to my 10.72. Difference is all in the 60' and im only running Q16.
 
IMO race gas or e85 is going to net basically the same results power wise, I happen to have e85 local and $3.25gal is better than $10.00gal along with constantly changing a tune back and forth from pump to kill. Also when I did run race gas it was leaded and was constantly killing w/b sensors, not sure why tho.

AFRW you have a huge weight advantage over my car and my local track is known for being .1-.2 slower than other tracks around.

Track requires a roll bar for 11.49 or faster, some days they are strict and some days they aren't. On this particular track day I got lucky and they never said a word to me about. I have been kicked out on previous occasions.

I have officially pulled the turbo and an FP Black is going on it. I have a 2g head I want to get ported and almost all the parts for a built motor, once I have all that stuff I might take another shot at the 16g and maybe a record if the time doesnt drop too much between now and when ever I get around to building a motor. I checked my logs and adjusted the gearing and car weight in the hp calculator in link and with the 16g its saying 475hp and I compared that against logs of my old setup when it was dynoed and it was almost spot on so the car is making plenty of power with a little more I know i can squeeze out of it.
 
Well no joke man you are sure making great power out of the 16g. Ill have to check out your log if I remember next time I'm on the computer.

For what it's worth, I'm back to back testing my car that's pretty maxed out on gas. Switching it to ethanol based fuels to see if there really is an ET gain.
 
Well I'm not done with the 16g just yet but the switch is because im putting a 2g together for a dd and it needed a turbo. I was going to buy a new 20g from FP cause they have a great deal going on them and then I saw the price for the Black and it just made sense to buy that instead and take the 16g off the talon for now and use that on the 2g. Also without spending significant money on a quality ported head or expensive chassis parts for weight reduction there isnt much left in my current setup. The ported head and weight reduction are on my list but they won't be happening anytime soon so I will get back to the 16g at some point because I'm sure I can go faster still.
