After a rather disappointing and aggravating trip to the shootout and the transmissions shifting like complete dogshit and locking me out of second, I decided to tear it apart and go faceplatted (my mustang friend has been pushing me to do it
). Still getting a hang of the trans but tonight I hit the track with only my 3rd time racing the car with this trans and managed my own personal best, I was expecting to run 10.9@130 needless to say I was pleasantly surprised
.
Car has a 56mm 6blade HX40 in a 70A/R T3, still running a 2G maf, a small 7inchX3.5 inch old buschur style core, Bone stock 6bolt bottom end down to the balance shafts, stock head, ARP studs, cams and springs. 93octane and meth
Drove 45mins to the track and home in one piece.

feel like im driving a ticking time bomb. It obviously goes without saying that this is still a stock gear set, so you are still limited on the load the gears can actually handle. I personally still dont know how to race this trans well, the idea of shifting it as fast as you want and you wont miss still hasnt set in my mind yet
. Congratulations, that things moving.
