New to the DSM community, just picked up a 1992 talon TSI front wheel drive. The car was someone's project car before they ran out of money. The next guy, aka the guy who sold me the car, did a few more mods also. I'm now the proud owner of the project talon, the mods I know or have been told where done. Big 16g turbo, FMIC, After market fuel pump not sure of size, 550 injectors, solid pipe turbo piping all around, after market turbo manifold, big down pipe, 2.5 or 3 inch exhaust piping. all emissions stuff plugged on throttle body, rebuilt motor 4k miles ago, balancing shafts removed, new motor mounts, lightened fly wheel, 400hp rated clutch, after market bov vented to atmosphere, Aem boost gauge. The car has stock MAF and hits fuel cut under WOT I know the stock MAF is a huge issue in a built DSM. My thought was a fuel pressure regulator, wide band, maf conversion box with gm maf positioned after bov or dsm link. My question is whats the best set up for the maf problem when using dsm link 2g maf? gm maf? stock maf? SD set up? What's the best bang for my buck dsmlink or maf conversion box with gm maf?
Thanks for any advice in advance Nick
