the block was good. they checked it out before sending off the head to be machined.

Should be a few more days and she gets done. Head machining went well, new valve guides, seals and seats. Also getting ready to replace my stock side mount for a vrsf fmic kit. Then dsm link and ill be done for a little while. Going to do some body work on her and then a fresh coat of paint sometime this spring. Will post pics when I get her back!!

Small update!! Car is getting back together as we speak. Sprung for a full cometic head gasket, and ordered some arp headstuds today. Should be there tomorrow, then the car gets bolted back up. Pics to follow shortly!

Isn't your race day this coming weekend? Do you still plan on attending it? If so, when/how do you plan on shaking down the car and making sure everything is working well before beating the piss out of it?

Nah brian, had to raincheck that event still plenty more coming in april. They just got the head studs in today, still trying to trim out more space between my fluidyne and the fmic uicp for a better fit. Gonna be a long process.. after shes all together, shes getting a paint rehab job done, interior is getting steam cleaned and maybe a few other things, i.e. ss braided brake lines, motul rbf600 flush, the works. Then dsm link when the irs decides to give me my refund
