Well my current mods are

Apexi N1 exust,
Forge bov,
Big 16G ported w/34mm waste gate,
GReddy Profec B boost controler,

I Don't know what i should get next. People tell me different things all the time but what would you guys get next if you had about $500 to spend.

Also Dos any one know what HP I might have if i am running 16PSI on curent setup.

www.extremepsi.com has a fuel package which includes injectors, fuel pump and safc II. That will allow you to run more boost and tune what you have to be better for your street purposes. :talon:

I second that but you should just check out the staged performance upgrades that most vendors list and this site lists as well here

You will need a clutch, Hard IC Piping, port manifold, port O2 housing, Gauges etc. to name a few more...
 
fuel mods or... front mount :) why a front mount? because they are fun and look completely amazing! LOL no, there are more reasons to have a FMIC..
I dunno about you guys, but i've been just following the DSM Tuning Guide provided by DSMTUNERS.com
Maybe check that out and make a decision based on what you might be lacking in Stage 1 mods.
 
550 injectors
255lph Fuel Pump
Boost Gauge(you have a boost controller and no boost Gauge?)

No one can tell you what hp you have with just that setup every car is different and everyones setup is different the only way to ever find out is..yes you guessed it DYNO.
 
I also forgot to add you might need some sort of fuel tuning device AFC,MAF,dsm chip whatever one of those works.

I have a Boost Gauge and Oil Gauge Also have A/F Gauge thats build in my turbo timer (apexi)

Well i am looking for the mods that will help a preformance

K&N Fileter
Fuel Pump
AFC II
 
For 500$ you can get a fuel pump, short shifter, and a set of gauges. I don't know why you would need injectors. If you get a MoTech ECU. Or the SAFC looks pretty damn cool in a car.

He definately needs injectors with a big 16g at 17psi or more. Also some type of data logger, so you can tell what the hell is going on when you tune with your SAFC II or whatever you end up with.

And get bigger than 550cc injectors. I bought some and already need bigger after only 2 months on my evo3b16g. Running 19psi I am at 94% injector duty cycle.

I've seen several people run up to 26 psi on the e3b16g without maxing out their 550's. But since 650's are listed as only being 35 dollars more, you might as well go bigger. Anyways as said before pick up a package, injectors/pump/safc that will make the car considerably faster (more boost). Next look at loggers, a cheap palm pilot and free software is out there or even browse the dsmtrader.com because they sell them all the time. Definately get a new filter, and get rid of your air box to get more air to the turbo. Also intercooler pipes will become very important soon (see if you can't make your own, that would be very inexpensive, and so will a bov if you don't already have a new one look at a 1g for now they are really inexpensive. Also check the trader in general for some of these parts since it is easy to find good deals on good parts. Good luck.
 
I would guess that 26psi was on race gas, I am talking about on pump
 
Well i have a logger. I found preatty good deal on fuel sustem @ extremepsi $600 for injectors fuel pump and afc. But do you guys think if i buy used to save $ will i have any problems?

I agree with the pump and injectors, but the SAFC II you should be ok just make sure to ask questions and check feedback on the seller.

On a side note I have some 550's I will sell you that are basically brand new :D
 
I am not saying it isnt possible, just that on my car I am running out of fuel. I could run a little more psi and race gas but I would rather have the cushion of larger injectors and less IDC.
 
He's not running an evo3 16g which flows like a 20g just the tried and true b16g, 550's would be fine with that. 650 would give you the extra safety margin, but it could be quite a pain to tune those on just an AFC also. If you go 650'sand have an eprom ecu i would suggest getting a chip and an AFC 1 (anolog) if your on a limited budget and a logger and that should be plenty to make good power for a budget, but you really gonna need to upgrade that stock piping any way you look at it..........
 
Why the stock Piping won't hold more then 20 psi? with thouse mods i am planing to run about 18-20 psi.
 
If it were me, I'd spend $3 to vent the side mount intercooler (free mod)
Go on the trader and find yourself an intake pipe with filter (I can't believe this isn't done yet)
Get yourself a crushed 1g BOV.. trader as well -- should be cheap.
Upper intercooler piping also a good idea.. get it flanged for the 1g BOV. -- $100-150.

should put you right around $500... use your next $200 on injectors... you should at least be able to put a little more fuel to your setup with the safc and new pump. Definately noticable gains with these mods.

Dude the intake is the first thing many people upgrade. My first upgrade was blow off valve & exust. I just can't buy a fileter. when i want to get a filter i don't have $ and when i have $ i get some better upgrade like 16G that i got. I need to find a filter somewhere.
 
Ok, your next mod has to be a better air filter. No excuses. You are robbing your car of the air it needs to run stronger because stock air intake are very restrictive. You will get increased gains with a new filter and piping.
 
Non of those mods are doing jack without an aftermarket airfilter. Just for the hell of it I put my stock airbox and airfilter back on my heavily modded car. I lost 4 psi of boost. Airfilter first, then fuel pump or fuel pump rewire.
 
you said apexi N1 exhaust i dunno if you meant catback or al the way but if not , a Downpipe would be a nice upgrade too just my .02
