hello all all the help and comments are much appreciated...

I am looking to start a 2g 4g63 build, and do It the right way from nothing. this being said I figured the best option was to start with the engine build itself. money is not a huge issue I mean im not rich by any mean but I have some money to play with. my end result would be about 400 whp, without my car being pushed to the limit if that makes sense. what I would like out of this post is just ideas good vendors and any helping hands. with that being said...

when it comes to a fresh motor is it easy/better to find one that is already together or buy it in pieces and if in pieces I would only know the main components is there anyone that could come up with a full part list I would need keeping my end game in mind.

sorry if this post is in the wrong thread looked over site

there is just 2 much to really mention . but i will give you the basics.

1.start with a 1g 6 bolt 4g63"this is the best gen to build". tear it down or get it already disassembled

2. ACL for bearings ARP for bolts Eagle for rods and Wiseco for pistons

3. if you can, have the block sleved.

4. Head . Brian crowder CAMS ,port it

5. EVO or ANY other Upgraded headers and turbo

6. 255 Walbro or 200/300 DW fuel pump/ Fuel lab AFPR and fuel filter. 750-850 cc Injectors.

much much more, but this basic stuff will give you strength and mighty durability with out it being pushed to it's max. so you can comfortably sit at 400 HP although it can do more.

Milliman13 got some good info there.

But first decide what exactly you want your car to be:
Will it be a daily driver?
Will it be a weekend fun car and sometimes a track car?
Will it be a dedicated track car?
Do you want it to have good handling, high speed, high acceleration?
Do you want it to be comfortable?
Do you want the car to be fast, reliable, or cheap (pick TWO)?

Also, how much experience with cars do you have and are you planning on doing all work yourself?

It will be my daily, and just something quick along with being reliable. Dont car how she handles or rides as much. I have about 16k ready to go just want to price everything out before I just starting buying parts.

Where is best place to get a clean block when I start the project ill be in cali im sure I can find a place to get the block sleeved. Do arp come in a kit or am I going to have to get them as I go. My buddy blew up his car and is parting it out I can get my hands on the pistons and rods, but is there a way to make sure they are still solid. Does evo head just bolt right on to the block or is there more work that has to be done.

I have torn apart handfull of dsms so I know them pretty well, but they were all pretty stock so when it comes to upgrades and whats best im not 100% on what im doing.

Well a 4g63 is not a honda block, so no need to have it sleeved, unless the cylinder is cracked and it is being done for a repair.

Get a good tune solution and decent WB

Even if block has some use going for new or is it still not even worth it

Yeah plan going in... is to just buy a 2g body but, goal is done right build
