Need Ideas with interior

Hey everyone im looking for some ideas. I want to put a design or possibly lettering almost like vinyl but id like to make it out of carbon fiber. Not sure what do to but i know there is too much white and i would like to take away from that. let me know some ideas please. and nothing to do with sponsor emblems or anything ###. thanks

Honestly, I think you got enough, if not too much. But that's only my opinion. If anything, maybe have Spyder written somewhere......

Yes too much i agree. I think it has to do with the overwhelming amount of white. Especially in the areas i circled in red. as well as the driver side door. I was thinking if i could come up with something subtle to put in the door areas or on the dash it would take some of the white away and be much easier on the eye.

uh that is one bad ass interior, but i guess you could probably put some emblem of a red mistubishi symbol or maybe a spyder or eclipse badge. Honestly though, that interior is amazing and i would not want to touch it. The white looks great and you chose to have a color interior so I don't really see why you would want to take away from the white.

Another idea would be to coat the red area circled above the dash with carbon fiber so it isn't as bright, but otherwise i think the doors are alright.
(unless like i said earlier you put emblems or badge it up, maybe even that TV idea...)

I think just the door panels have too much white. Try adding some black in on them.

@ Tiki - Thank you, I only added the dash kit because the jerk who owned it before me did the whole spray can thing. same thing with the doors. I was thinking actual carbon fiber. I have spent so so much time getting rid of all the ghetto rigged crap and plastic mods and spray paint from the previous owner i would hate to add any paint or emblems. I am in the midst of removing the greddy vinyl on the door that he put there. ( BTW there was nothing Greddy on the car when i got it)

@ black widow - ty, Yes dark or black would be best, i was thinking the same, thats why CF came to mind.

Daaaaaaamnnnn. I'd be afraid to drive that car with all that white. Holy sheebus. Tis very perdy though. I kind of actually like it with the white exterior.

Maybe you could mask off an area similar to the insert on the stock door panels and paint that area black. Or you could cut out a piece of CF look vinyl in the same shape and stick it there.

But that would be more for the doors more than anything. Still think it looks good as is though.

@ Ktgurl and Lurker - I really liked it after it was doen, I thought it went well together too, but on a sunny day that bright white really sticks out i have to take it down a notch somehow creates a glare on the windshield too.

@ blackwidow and lurker - I would like it to be real CF, i do like the idea on the pic you showed lurker. that never even came to mind to wrap the area around the handle, switch panel and side vent. looks sweet!

Don't do a thing. That's a nice interior. I have the same dash-overlay, and I'd like to get my hands on those Team RIP door panels. It's golden how it is. Leave it. Less is more.

EDIT: I didn't mean Team RIP....I can't remember the name of the company put those out originally, so nevermind. Nice door panels though. Think I'll start looking for a set.

It's Nikola's ride (Nikola is his user name). He's got a keen eye on detail and made it work incredibly well.

It's not mine, I just came across it in the recent pics. Although I'd suggest giving the owner of the cf overlay props. He did an amazing job integrating it.

I wouldn't do the spiderman logo; it's too tacky. The car looks clean and I think you should keep it that way.


If you want to do something in carbon fiber, you may want to try wrapping it with a carbon vinyl wrap first. Then you can work out the lines to make it flow. Plus it would give you a template to transfer onto the carbon fiber.

Thanks Knockgoon, That is a smart idea. But now on debating on touching it all . I still think i might have to do a lil something on the dash as far as a cf wrap. at the right time of day the glare is really bad. What part of PA are you in. Im in Erie all the time. Literally all the time my wife is in med school there so im there 3-4 days out of the week.

real CF is going to cause glare as well.... CF Wrap would be more matte... but i always like real CF, im on your side, just think about glare on that end also..

That looks even worse than my car did when I got it (white everywhere except the dash pad basically).

I would make the white to be like accents on the black, instead of the opposite.

yeah i figured just not as nice a buff but your right there will still be some shine maybe just no more driving around dusk just pull over and chill for an hour for now on
