that would be good i like the idea of the dark charcol and black but i think you should seriously think about some carbon fiber in there to depending on what your budget is . any way if you do charcol inserts in suede with the black then that would be nice

The rare 99 only all black leather interior. Start with that and work around that. Maybe black carpet, and you'll have your racing seats.

IMO the best interior in a 2g is the 99 all black leather.

I really like that all black interior it think it would complement the rest of the car cause I have black wheels so having a black interior would look sick. I like the idea of black carpet too! Does that come factory? would i beable to get that at the dealer? I know the headliner I would have to make but Ive done that before so it would be simple

Also If anyone has black interior parts layin around I would gladly take them off your hands!

Yeah, all black is definitely sexy. They did come with factory black carpet too and even black seatbelts! but those are rare pieces to find. Good luck with the new interior

Here is a daytime picture of all black interior

I really like the ideas of goin with black carpet and maybe a suede black headliner and then I was looking on that c2motorsports.com website that makes pretty much anything you need out of carbonfiber and I got the idea of a carbonfiber center counsole. A guy i know picked up a Porsche GT2 and I liked how it looked inside... Heres a pic to give you an idea.

I'm in the middle of doing my interior, I'm doing a black suede headliner and wrapping the rest of my plastic in charcoal suede. Black carpet and a pair of bride seats, along with the roll bar that I'm thinking about wrapping so it'll blend better. Then I'll probably do the door inserts in black suede as well. Got the suede idea from my buddies 330i ZHP. Suede steering wheels feel amazing. O and I'm also doing white led's in place of all the factory bulbs.

awsome finally some more carbon fiber i love it ok ill admit it im adicted

and trackTSIawd i like your idea with the led's any helpon how to do it would be awsome im thinking of doing the same. sorry don't know much about electicals

I plan on replacing every light in the car except the headlights with led's... less draw=happy electrical system :thumb: plus they look hot if you choose the right color. I really only like white.

I was browsing the gallery and came across these two pics and I must say it's one clean interior, looks expensive though with all the sparco stuff. I would keep it clean like that but maybe with a different color choice.:thumb:

I am in love with this interior. I need to do my car just like it, but either the seats or the carpet need to be changed. Any clue where to get those gauges? I like the little chrome ring around them.

I went for the tasteful approach and painted everything. Might seem tacky, but with the right color(or lack there of) you can fully customize your interior without being ghetto. I spent months researching and thinking before I decided upon my scheme. It's somewhat subtle. And keep in mind that it's a '97 GSX with the full tan interior. I had grey Bently carpet custom sewn in with matching floormats. One and a half hides of carbon fiber patterned black leather($125.00 per half hide) and two yards of Ultra Suede in grey($120.00 per yard) which I got at the manufacturer for dealer cost, plus tax free. I traded all the labor costs with the upholsterer for paint and body work on his car. I have the headliner in the suede and the moonroof slide. Seats in leather with suede inserts. Matching shift boot, and I'm waiting to get the armrest and e-brake handle done. Door panels match, and he made a custom strip of suede to match up to the dash. I painted all the plastic black using Bulldog adhesive promoter and professional interior plastic paint. Then I primered the wrap around(driver and passenger sides) smooth and paint matched it to the outside of the car. All accesory trim is paint matched smooth as well.
The flash makes the grey look a lot lighter than it does in person. The paint and suede look much more subtle in natural light. And the carpet much darker. My car was really dirty when I took these, and I've done a bit more work on it since then. I also made the pedals from scratch out of some scrap aluminum I had laying around.

+1 for stockinteriors.com :thumb:

Me personally, I'm a sucker for leather I think that brings out the cars value so much more. I remeber a while ago online sumwear I saw a full dash kit that was almost like a smoked chrome. Like a shiny silver with tint over it. I dont remember wear I saw it, I'm actually trying to find it for my self. I just cant remember wear it was. All I remember is the pics and the pics looked SHARP.
