Need help with my V2, does anyone have the cable??

I bought my car not knowing it had a DSMlink in it. One day I noticed my car had the anti-lag and 2 step feature, like it came on for some reason. I wasn't driving the car at the time because of a bad tranny. When I did finally drive it, the anti-lag and 2 step would not deactivate while I was driving. Does anyone that lives NJ have a V2 cable that can let me borrow it so it can be turned off. I will compensate the person who helps me. I need my car cause I will be getting a new job in a couple of weeks and need transportation. Please help me out, I have a family and really need this job bills are stacking up. You are screwed without the cable if you ever disconnect your battery, you will lose the settings on V2

That's what happened, damn what are my options?? Does anyone have the stuff to fix it?? Someone has to have a V2, I need to be able to get to my new job. Please someone come to my rescue.

email dsmlink and see if they can make make you a chip for your car with the basic mods that you have. I doubt they will be its worth a try. Also your anti lag should not come on unless your speedo is not working correctly. The anti lag feature turns off after 8mph.

How do you know it's actually ECMLink v2? There are fraudulent copies of v2 also it could just be a burnt chip.

I found a 98 reflashable ecu, I'm just gonna go with that. I pulled the ecu and saw the DSMlink eprom. I'm gonna sell my ecu now if anyone wants it. It works fine aside from the one problem, pull the V2 and put a V3.

I'd rather just use the flashable ecu, Thanks for letting me know though. All the cables I had found were sold already.

There is a wire that you hook into the ecu from the clutch switch that activates the anti lag/2step. Will the car start without the clutch pushed in. The way this mod works is it has a wire that is connected to a pin on the ecu that is normally grounded out in a manual trans car. This wire in an automatic car is used as a signal for the nuetral safety switch. When connected to the clutch pedal it can use the signal offthe clutch switch and activate the antilag and nlts. Find the loose wire running to your clutch pedal switch and connect it to ground and it will deactivate those features. It will be okay to drive it like that. I have a 1g with a programmed eprom with those features that I havnt even hooked the wires up for the al/nlts. Good luck

It doesn't start without the clutch pushed in, but it does click. I hear a relay click and it never did that before. I'm going to give it a shot. Thank you for the info.

I tried it, no change. I can't figure it out, the speedo work I think maybe the ecu doesn't know the cart is moving. It is intermittent, for some reason it has deactivated before, but just for a few seconds.
