i need help in finding out the problem with my 2g

hi im new to dsm forums i need help in finding out what the problem is my 1998 eclipse n/t 420a shakes alot when i put in reverse and start letting off the clutch it also does it a little bit in first drives fine after car is in motion but it shakes really bad in reverse especially also their is a weird noise coming from tranny where clutch is i just replaced all motor mounts i thought that was it but na if anyone can help ill appriciate it

Well I was going to say the mounts. Whats the noise sound like thats coming from the tranny?

its like a grinding noise i engage the clutch and it goes away put take my out and it starts again the whole car shakes really bad i cant really even use reverse

A dragging clutch maybe? Have you adjusted your slave cylinder lately?

Definitely sounds like a problem with your clutch. Also double check all your mount bolts/nuts to make sure they didn't back out or loosen.

If the noise goes away when you push the clutch in, I would put money on that the throw out bearing is shot.

I would say throw out bearing as well.
