I have a 91 Talon Non turbo. The old starter was just cranking really slow, so I tested it cleaned it, looked at the brushes and gear and came to the conclusion on my own I needed a new starter. Went to the part store and bought a new starter. Put the new starter in and the car started like a champ but the starter won't disengage until i turn the key back. The old starter always disengaged. I looked at the cables, relays, fuses first cleaned up the battery terminals, put the starter back in started the car and the starter still won't disengage. I went back to the part store and had them test it.. The guy said it's a bad cylinoid. Went and got another new starter put it in same thing.. I don't know what else to do check any suggestions will be greatly appreciated..
