Need answer to a simple question? How can I be fast and pretend to have a life?

Hey guys,

Ive been surfing the site for awhile, and now i have a question.

OK, i know you guys look down on guys who talk bad about "ricers", so i won't.

But there are alot of cars around here who need to be put in there place, like some civics and a few 6 cylinder mustang's, and a few nicer cars with bad owners. so i wanna know which DSM i should get my hands on to put them back into there places, at the back of the line. :laugh:

So i wanna know a GS-X or GS-T? These drivers around here have no idea what 2G Eclipses look like, or they think there just non turbo talons (cuz onlt talons where sold here on the east coast of Canada). So im looking for what car would be better so have?

4x4 is no gaurntee that youll get through snow better then a fwd or rwd car it just means you have a better chance. Living in tahoe and watching tourists pass up my semi has shown me that 4x4 is great and all and it will get your started but stopping becomes a bit problmatic

yeah i know they launch good i have a tsi two. but well setting up suspension is critical on fwd. its like saying any car thats front wheel drive hondas and acuras that are modded right are not fast? people just jump to the conclusion that it is not rear wheel drive then its not fast unless its awd. ive seen plenty of front wheel cars in 11s and 12s. its about tires, pressure, suspension and driving skills. take two poeple one that always drives awd and one that drives fwd gst. if they were both put in the same fwd car. i guraunteed the fwd driver will win. its hard to get in a car with not much traction and try to get good times. i also have a supra turbo and that two takes skills becasue you can easily spin through two gears even with wide tires and rwd. hey its pref, whatever he wants he should get. and oh yeah i drive mine through winter pretty much with hills and mountains everywhere and my car kills the the 18 in storms. you gotta burn through the snow to hit pave then you hook up! :laugh: hope you figure what one to buy either way they are both fun.

if I were to go WWD - it would only be in something truly light - not a 2900lb 2g

btw fwd sucks bad enough at the track - and fwd on the street? laugh.

Why is FWD being considered? FWD is more fun in the snow!
I've been driving FWD in Canadian winters for years and have had no problems. You talk as if FWD should be banned from Canada . To answer the question, I would go AWD if you plan on doing performance mods AND driving in the winter since it will get harder to control

What is a more effective way to move a car, PUSH or PULL ? Everyones going to tell you, pushing a car is more effective because it puts more weight to the tires doing all the work. More weight on tires means more traction.

So again, who drives a FWD and thinks their pimp at the drags? or even on the road? NO ONE. Its the lamest thing invented next to the sex drive for your computer.

I have driven both in the snow - and after doing my first awd donuts - its very hard for me to ever want fwd again

what I REALLY wanna do is visit canada sometime - and find me a nice big frozen lake - something big enough that i can get going 50mph or so on the ice - and lose control for the hell of it!! that would be sooo much fun to me.

got any lakes???

You don't need a lake here! Just come drive on the side streets - they never get cleaned and they end up icing over But then again you won't be able to hit 50mph
