I am still undecided after 3 months in which direction I should take with my car.

I know before I start to build, I need to know what I intend to use it for, and I want a street/strip.

First off, I cant make up my mind on what turbo to use. Currently I have an big Evo III 16G. I know that its good up to aprox. 350hp. But I might want to go bigger, and I'm curious to what turbo is recommended. I keep looking at the Holset HX40.

To be honest, I've owned MANY turbo cars, and Modded each and every one, but when I start reading about .50 Trim and all that, I have no idea what the hell that means.

I want to use a Light FW, but I've read that 11.6 is the best for street/strip vs. the 8.

I know I wanna go with DSMLink. (Currently have Apexi Neo)

The bottom in is shot, so I plan on using Eagle H-Beam rods, and possibly Wiesco Pistons.
I'm not set on specific HP goals, just wanna see what I can get out of it.

272 Crower Cams
1 MM oversized valves
manely titanium springs and retainers
Intake side ported and polished

Well I guess you just want a new turbo with the setup you will be running? How much money you have to spend? If you have the cash I would go with a FP 35r. They bolt right to your manifold and make awesome power! You wont have to worry about lag as long as your revving that motor up high.
 
I'm all for you going with the HX40. Proven 600HP turbo. Cheaper than a GT35 by a long shot and spools faster to boot. Going to have to go with either the bullseye housing or a T4 manifold and an external wastegate. DSMLink is amazing. I'd say toss a Meth Kit on there so you can run enough boost to take advantage of your upgraded internals without running race gas all the time. Your head is already going to flow more than enough as its setup now.
