ok here's the deal. I need a little helpful advice and a little direction here. ive got a 2g gsx shell and a 1g long block that i am rebuilding from the block up. so far what im looking at is doing the 2.3 stroker, eagle rods, arp rod blots, je 8.5-1 .020 over pistons. now for the head work ferrea 1mm over valves, and 280/280 cams. as far as valve springs i think i want to go for something like a dual coil but im not really sure. i want to get 500hp out of this beast and also i am looking to go in the direction of time attack so any helpful advice or direction that i might want to look into would be great especially in the vavle spring department.

*** oh yeah on a side note, im getting the head and the block hot tanked and pressure checked and resurfaced if needed so please dont everyone dont tell me to do that.

Thanks for any ideas.

Well I assume you mean dual valve springs and yes you almost certainly will have too with those cams. 500hp is alot for time attack well it depends on the track so you should dictate your turbo based on track I.E. lots of tight turns you will probably want low end power lots of straights probably top end so it depends on the track. A FP30 would be a good choice it should get you there and have decent mid range with the stroker. These are my thoughts if there wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.
P.S. Don't forget about your drive train.

Wow... well, a couple things. First, do not build your car to 500hp right out of the gate for a couple reasons. A) Trying to learn a new car with 500hp (of which the power curve would be fairly non linear) while on a track is something that leads to destroyed cars, hospitalized drivers and a lot of money gone pretty quickly. B) 500hp is a lot of power to put down, even in an AWD car. I have no idea what your previous experiences are, or your driver ability, however I do know that 500whp cars tend to be a bit over the top for time attack things, not to mention that the power levels would take you up classes extremly quickly.

Second, the turbo and engine decisions are the easy part of the equation. It's all the details like suspension, cooling, tires, safety, and brakes that take a bit more time and effort (and a lot of money).

I think you have the general idea of what the motor needs, but you also need to figure out who you're having assemble it, as well as considering all of the supporting mods that you'll need to run that much power.

I think the FP3052 is a great choice for road course, but you would be hard pressed to be able to tune it well enough to run 500awhp for 20 minute track sessions.

I guess your post seems a bit... brash. Like you may be jumping into this without fully realizing everything you have to do.
