2G Recent Purchase, 50 trim direction needed

So my question:

Where on Earth do I start the priority? I was thinking for starters wide band, then 680 injectors (from what I've read holds well on the 50 trims, so I can at least get it firing correctly. I'm taking it easy on this thing until I get it tuned. Especially considering I've never had it about 4k rpm due to the fuel cut.

Thoughts on priority?

Definitely start with a boost controller, boost gauge and wideband. At least that way you can keep the boost down and you won't tap out your fuel system. After you've got those, go for the fuel upgrades and tuning.

So my question, now that I have a cyl 2 misfire that only seems to throw a code when I drive it, then shut it off, then start it again (then it throws the CEL and runs on 3 cylinders):

Well.. your about to put a little money into it. You either order the right mods and do it all, or don't do it at all, and put a smaller turbo on it. . I would park it and not even drive it until the correct mods are complete.

First thing is basic maintenance.. I would start with a
compression check, then timing belt etc. For the mods. .. Obviously a AFPR, bigger injectors, WITH ecm link,gauges, and a Mbc.. I'd say that's easily $1000 to $1500 in mods. You can hunt in the classifieds. If your not prepared to drop the money on mods, then I'd get a smaller stock turbo and slap it on for now.

What code is it throwing? Just a misfire? I'd start with the spark plug wires and then check the gap on your plugs. Our dsm's like ngk plugs. Make sure your spark plug wires are not separating at the boot and arcing.

Forgot to mention I have a Prosport Boost Gauge. I haven't had the car about 5psi at best.

I have a FPR and PTE 680cc injectors en route.

Didnt know about the NGK issue, He gave me a set of NGK Iridium plugs at .28 with new wires to install when i bought it.
 
Check out your ecu it will help on choosing a tuning route, also decide if you will be tuning yourself or by someone else. I can say ecmlink is pretty user friendly and not too bad on getting your car running safely. (compared to stock fuel and a 50 trim) I have never done anything with the black box ecu flashing.

Relatively familiar. Former Stealth RT/TT owner. Spent a lot of time at 3SI. But (and this may sound crazy...LOL) but I never had a ton of issues with my Stealth.

Swap your injector #2 with #4. See if your cel is the same. If it changes, obviously it's the injector. If not then start tracing your wires all the way to the source.

Yeah that's my game plan. Just waiting for the weekend to tear into it. Troubleshooting I have a semi good hold on...Just prioritizing all of the essentials was a bit daunting.
