navigation system size/brand

Do any of you guys know the diameter and height of the car radio? I'm trying to.get a navi system that will fit snug in that space. If you know any brands that would be great

I have the Kenwood DDX318... Fits perfectly utilizing the stock metal side mounts. I only had to snip off the bottom portion of the trim ring they supplied with the unit which took literally 7 seconds to do and looks like a factory clean perfect fit. Check out my build video in my profile, at around time 2:25 you can see me installing it and how the finished product looks. Love it and outperforms other units i have had in the past that cost twice as much. Laters

PS- every site like crutchfield.com or whatever will say that this and many other double din units wont fit our cars.... that's bs, the right installer can make anything fit. this particular unit just happens to be a easy install that anyone can do even though they say it is incompatible. fyi.

ANY double din head unit will fit. With the factory metal brackets, it will fit perfectly with no obnoxious gap. However, I'm not sure about headunits that flip up.

I've had a Pioneer AVIC-U310BT since late 2009. Not the best head unit in the world but it navigates, plays Ipod/mp3 players, USB, SD, has an ejectable plate..couldn't ask for more.
