Name this plug near gauge cluster

Make a long story short, I had a mice nest in the blower fan, removed entire interior including the dash(99 gsx) to clean out heater core, ac chiller, and air ducts. Everything is back together except I cannot find a place for this plug. I have no idea what it is. I have the plug currently hanging out left of the steering column as I "believe" it comes out of the wiring harness that goes to the fog lights/mirror control/cruise panel on the left of the dash. If it goes to anything it has to be close as its only 8-10 inches of wire. If this is at the wrong place please let me know.

2 wire with white plug - gray w/blue stripe and yellow w/blue stripe.

No one has any clue at all? Someone has to have figured out what it is in order to cut it off during a dsm diet or when having the dash out.

is you brake or clutch switch plugged it? thats what it looks like to me. but ive only ever had one 2g

Yes brake and clutch switch are both plugged in, thanks for the reply

I double checked the dimmer switch so I don't think it's that one but it might be the key reminder plug. I don't remember hearing the chyme, but I didn't have the steering column out just the wheel and levers off. It might have come off in the middle of things. Thanks for checking for me. I'm away from the car for awhile so I'll wait for your reply. Huge help!

I started looking but didn't have much luck on find that plug because I have an aftermarket alarm viper if you viper they got tons of wiring & then had to drive to work. Now I'm away from the car about 500miles ill get back 2mrw & dig closer in there

It really looks like the connector from either the brake or clutch position switches.
Keep in mind that the clutch has 2 switches. One for the autocruise that senses when you push the clutch down, and an interlock switch for starting that requires you push the switch all the way down.

Thanks, I think you've got it! I don't use those tweeters and I must have routed that part of the wire harness closer to the front of the dash so it seems to short to reach that drivers side tweeter, but it makes perfect sense. When I get back to the car I'll check it out. Thanks again!
