so how much did you have to spend just so some of us know what to expect to spend if this happens to us ???

I spent 3295.50 for the long block came with: 7 bolt, 1G head, 1G intake cam, 1G exhaust cam. I had to switch out the intake cam. I still have it if anyone wants to buy it. The turbo cost 699.00 w/tax was 724.00 from turbochargers.com. It was shipped on a friday and i recieved it on a wednesday. We had to buy a new oil pickup; 34.00. New crank pulley damper: 140.00. New plugs, wires, oil, trans oil, hose clamps, paint... lets say over 150.00 but less than 200. So i think when I added it all up it was 4500 dollars give or take a hundred. I now have 488 miles on it. And will dyno it hear soon. If thats helps any, i am glad me and dad did the work, cuase we know what we are working with....
