I have a 50 trim, and can upgrade to a 60-1 for just about nothing. The only thing that concerns me is using the 60-1 with the straight TDO6 turbine wheel in a 7cm. Not sure it can get all of the air out that a 60-1 can put in. This talk of running faster on 50 trims also has me listening. Now my question is this. There are poeple running the 60-1 in the form of a FP red that dont seem to have this much trouble with lag. I have to assume the stage 5 wheel is going to have a much more profound effect on lag than the 60-1 wheel does. But I'll have to look at the 50 trim and 60-1 maps again to see the difference in wheel rpm to get the same boost...

On topic, the cage looks awesome. What kind of money did you have doing this yourself? Mild steel or chrome moly?

I had about $300-$350 in materials (the hoop, strut kit, fasteners, hardware and paint) and probably 20 hours working time.
