My headgasket blew yesturday.

Well yesturday me and my friend were driving down the highway, then all of a sudden white smoke started coming out the tail pipe. I immediatly look at the temp gauge sure enough she was getting hot. The temp never made it to the red but close enough. We pull into the Krogers parking lot and pop the hood. O man was it a mess. Not only was the overflow tank spitting coolant all over, my dipstick poped out and shot oil all over the place.That is the first time the dipstick has ever came out. So I let it cool off and add enough oil to top it off(didnt take much at all) I go to start it and all I get is a single click(sounded like the starter was stuck)
So I got all mad, locked it up and rode home with my budddy and got drunk
I went back today and got her.Now she is sitting in front of the garage.Im going out in a min. to put her in the garage so I can start tearing the head off.
Im so pissed. Well atleast I will have something to do this weekend.
I will keep you guys updated on the progress as soon as I get started.

Have any internal mods done to your head yet? Might be a good time to stuff some goodies in there while you have it off.

No mods to the head on this car yet.
Im going to start tearing it apart friday. Free beer for anybody who shows up Get drunk,work or just drunk and hang out.

Whats ganna begin has begun.

I have started working on her. Nothing big just took off the snorkle,throttle cables,injector plugs,unplugged all wires and hoses from the head.
I wont be able to work on her tomm. so friday Is when Im going to really tear into her.

Well I got to work. I got everything tore apart, put the gasket on and put the head back on. At this point I was to drunk to go any further so now just have to plug everything back in, do the timing belt, and all the other little shit.

So I was plugging everything back in then the thermostat sensor plug broke. We all know how britle these wires get. Broke rite off at the sensor. One of the other plugs did it aswell.
Im going back out there rite now. Hopefully I will be able to fix them without haveing to splice new ones on and get my car running today.
I need the space back in my garage I have a few paying jobs waiting to be started.
