my friends GS, upgraded to GS-T

My friend currently has a 1999 GS that he wants to make into a turbo car. Hahn and Star performance make kits that will bolt up to this car, but according to a source of mine it said that they do not fit onto an automatic car... Does anyone know the answer to this question? the only thing i could think of is that the Stage II kit will not fit due to the intercooler piping and the larger bell housing on the automatic cars... but other that that all of the hookups are the same and i dont see where there would be a problems hooking up this kit to an automatic vehicle. If anyone knows an answer to this please let me know. Thanx
