I havent had too much expierience with dsm's cause i dont have one yet, but i was wondering what would have to be done to convert a GS to a GS-T. Hopefully someone out there has had some expierience with this topic.

Basically the general responce to this is that it is not worth it. A GS to GS-T conversion is not like swapping a GSR into a Civic. The GS engine uses Chryslers 420A motor which has the transmission on the opposite side to Mitsubishi's GS-T motor. THe mounts are obviously totally wrong. THe wiring inside the car is not compatiable so you can not simply unplug one and plug in the other. Nevermind those two things that make it almost impossible for a swap to happen, there are a whole host of other problems preventing it from happening.

Your best bet would be to either buy a GS-T to start, or just turbo the motor in the GS. Hahn Racecraft (www.hahnracecraft.com) makes some nice turbo kits for the 420a motor which will be much cheaper and less problematic then a swap like that.
