my ever evolving trunk/system ?opinions?

thanks i just took my carboard out and traced it to a piece of 1/2 inch MDF (you can use 1/4 as well) and test fit then sand test fit sand etc... then upholster. unfortionately due to the wood not being flexible might be difficult to get it in the car in one piece. dont use plywood mdf is stiff and easy to work with.

Yep, the only problem is finding the actual trunk piece itself. Mine mysteriously dissapeared after bringing the car to get repainted and I had to half ass one out of the actual carpet. I'm gonna just borrow someones in the spring and get the trunk finished along witht he fiberglass lined bottom.
