I have a 95 Eagle talon TSI Turbo Automatic :talon:
I don’t know what is wrong with my car I need some advise. First off, I don’t know I lot about motors but want to learn. Well the problem is it really bogs down off the start, a lot, as if the brake is on, and then once you get rolling it runs fine. Really seems like a transmition problem. Like the torque converter maybe. It even dies some times when it has to do any resistance like try to pull it up on a trailer or up on to a small curb. The motor was polled and is back in that is when this problem began. Can any one help! :talon:

Sounds to me like your system needs a good cleaning. Go up to a shop to get the internals cleaned. They usually use a chemical to get all that build up on your injectors and valves to come off. I had the same problem on an Acura Legend and went up to Muffler Man .. he cleaned it out for me.. took about 2 hours and maybe 80 bucks. What may be happening is your injectors are not spraying correctly and its difficult to combust a stream rather then the spray like it should be.. (think about a garden house nossle). You may also start to notice the exhaust start to puff smoke when first getting going.. that would be you running rich and another side effect of that is the Cat Converter will go bad very quickly in this situation.

Another problem could be your turbo, i had the same problem on my 1g, whathappened was the guy i bought it from never let the turbo cool down and it got a crack in the housing and it was leaking air out of the crack (causing very poor acceleration) but once you get going and pressure builds up it runs pretty good, check your turbo for cracks also check for pressure leaks somewhere as well also do get the internals cleaned couldn't hurt
