car bogs down after 3000rmp

Just got my car up after 8 months of hard work. It ran fine first few days but now I'm getting idle surge and she wont go past 3000rpm. Right around 4 grand it bogs down and it wont let me go any faster just replaced bov, maf and intake...... vacuum lines are good no boost leaks! Any one have any ideas ### help me

Is the cel on cause it could be a number of things

Yes I did check it p050 came up iac malfunction so I think that's the idle surge problem but could that be why I can't accelerate?

Yea that could be your idle surge but are you sure you dont have a bosst leak cause mine did the same and when i gave it a boost leak test i had a major boost leak in the stock intercooler...! Big hole...! After i fixed it it ran like a beast...! Are you running rich/lean?

I'm pretty sure no boost leak...... rich or lean I'm not sure I pulled the plugs they don't seem abnormal. I don't have a a/f meter

Your car is turbo right? I mean you have the mass air flow right? If its turbo then how is it possible that you dont have a air flow meter? If its a turbo do you atleast have a aftermarket boost gauge?

Yes it is Turbo.... I don't have an air/fuel ratio gauge

Well in that case do you have a aftermarket boost gauge and if you do how much boost are you making? Dont worrie i dont have a a/f meter either

If I were you I would get a set of plug wires from a friends just to see. My plugs and plug wire were causing me all kinds of problems....

OK tryed plug wires no help either I have a cop set up..... both set up still wont let me accelerate could it be the iaccoca's affecting that to?

unplug ## maf and take it down the road with it unpluged i bet it will rev out

this sounds just like mine. I have no boost leaks either and I can't figure this problem out. Can someone please get this problem fixed?
