Hello friends, I need your help...

My AC stopped working some hours after some changes that I did to my car, so I would like to know if you guys think that it might be related and If I'm overlooking something (After the changes I even turned it on once and it worked fine, and then after some hours didn't)

- 2GA Bumper Removal
- 2GB Bumper Install
- 2GB Fog Lights Install
- 2GB Projector Headlight Install

DETAILS:
The light in the AC button (green/orange) still lights, but the compressor does not engage as before and the AC fan doesn't kick in...
- AC Compressor belt is OK
- Fuses OK
- Dual Pressure Switch OK

Is there anything I can check ? I'm kinda lost now...

Thank you very much !!!

Could you have possibly busted the condenser when you did your bumper swap? A small pinhole will leak enough to loose the pressure. If it looses the pressure the compressor won't kick on. Edit: Did you check the plug on top of the filter dryer? It's in front of the driver side wheel well

Good point friend!!! I will check that... Should I send to a AC shop and try to charge it and / or look for leaks? Thanks

I would mess/fixing ac has always been a pain and its one of these things where you want it done right, ya know? i know when i was taking my bumper off i hit the compressor and and dented it but didnt ruin anything :p

Go to advanced auto buy that charge kit your self, I think its like 25 bucks for the can of refrigerant with the guage. It has a guage on it so you can see the pressure and charge accordingly. If their is none in their then you have a leak and then yes take it to the shop. If you have some pressure, then you can do some plugging your self and test for power. start at compresser and work back from their.

Buy Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Refrigerant with Reusable Dispenser and Gauge (18 oz.) AF-1 at Advance Auto Parts
I hope that worked this is the link for the guage/ can of ref. that will at least let you know if its low or not.

Just take it to a reputable shop and have them test it with a dye they send threw the system. They use a black light to see if any leaks are present. No point in charging the system yourself, especially if you did bust something and end up paying that extra 25$ for no reason.

It may not be a refrigerant problem any way. way take it to a shop when it is full of refrigerant. This at least tells him that their is or is not. if their is then why spend $100+ for them to say its not that.

Thats just what I would do. O.P its up to you. I do HVAC for a living so I can try to help if you want.

If you did bust the condenser i would have it vac'd out and recharged after you replace the condenser(or line or whatever broke). Problem with the auto parts store DIY charge kits is they already have oil in them. Basically you end up with twice the amount of oil in your cooling system which is not good nor efficient. Thats why they vac it at a shop before recharging.
Oh, and you would almost certainly hear the leak if you listened for it. I busted mine when we dropped the engine in and it leaked for a good 25 minutes. It was pretty loud.

Have you checked for power at the fuses. the swich might have crapped out. check for power first, like boost said you would most likley hear the leak. I still say chech the pressure first make sure has refrigerant, it might just not turn on because no power is getting to it.
