my 1g is having a problem

ok so, i just got my talon going pretty much brand new engine was running perfect till a few days ago. i parked my 1g in the garage and was driving my jeep for a while while i changed the oil and did some interior things on the 1g, today after i get done with all of it i let if off the jack go to start it up and nothing....so i hook my battery pack up that yes was fully charged to the battery and i get a bunch of fast clicking noises but wont turn over. it turned on once but was idleing really weird and at 10vac on my boost gauge and was struggling to stay idleing so i turned it off to prevent further damage, and now all it does is make the fast clicking noises when i go to start it and another noise thats like a humming or buzzing. could it be my starter or is it something else? i know its not the battery or the alternator because the battery is a brand new optima red top and the alternator is newish but the battery pack was hooked up through this whole thing so the alternator wasnt needed in the starting process. anyone have any ideas im fresh out

im gonna try and start it tomorrow. ive had the battery charging with the battery pack when i went to work and took it off when i got home see if she starts up tomorrow if not im lost , because she was running awsome till i parked it for a few days

Sounds like the problem may lie somewhere in "did some interior things on the 1g"

What exactly did you do? Anything related to wiring?

no just cleaned it out vaccumed it and hooked up my sub to my head unit...power wire to battery ground wire and the audio jacks to the head unit...i dont think that would of messed up it not running?

Tap the starter with a piece of wire to the positive terminal & see if it turns on,if it dosent your starter is out

Well sure it could if you popped a fuse or created a short to ground somewhere that is draining the battery.

Check your wiring.
