So ive been needing a new muffler cause my current one sounds fine until about 4000 rpm and then it turns into a little ricer :barf:. So i am just getting enough money to start seriously considering a new one. I was wanting a dual tip outlet kind of like this one -magnaflow part no 14803- Im not sure if its a good choice but im thinking about it. Ive heard good things about Magnaflow on this forum. But i was wondering if there would be a better, affordable (100-200$) muffler choice for a 1g N/T.

Thanks for the input. I always appreciate the feedback i get on this forum! :thumb:

Magnaflow mufflers usually have a nice deep tone to offset the ricer sound, but be aware that any straight-through muffler will tend to be loud and raspy on a naturally aspirated vehicle, especially in the upper rpm range when compared to a chambered muffler that is NOT straight-through.;)

If you must have the dual outlet look you might have to find a dual tip to put on it, although they can be kind of pricey ($40+) for what they are.:toobad: There might be a decent chambered muffler out there somewhere with dual tips, but I don't know of one off hand. Good luck though! :thumb:
