Motor mount replacements? No inserts.

Wanting a motor mount kit like the Prothanes but I don't wanna get a kit with the inserts. Anyone know of a place that makes them? I'm getting a lot of phantom knock with my solid front and rear mounts. They need to go

Front mount is ~68mm (measured between the mount ring and mount housing)
Front 1g full Prothane mount ~70mm

I also noticed that the rear mount is also 70mm diameter, but is thicker so it will not work without 'thinning' it out. But, the rear mount has a small hole in it so it hugs the bolt, unlike the front one.

Explain to me how you measure knock - which is detonation - in terms of degrees?
It's Knock SUM.


Nevermind, you're 2G using dsmlink. It shows degrees of timing retard as a knock value.

Even still, how do you know for a fact it isn't phantom knock.
Did you turn the boost down?
Have you tried race gas?
AFR under WOT?
EGTs?

You won't know for sure until you try race gas. Run it till your fuel light comes on, go and buy 5 gallons of race gas -$30-45.

$30-45 race gas confirming a tune issue or $300 motor mount that might fix your problem. HMMMM

I haven't tried race gas yet, no. I have however turned the boost down. But the knock WAS NOT there until I installed therear mount. Even with the motor flopping around it didn't knock. Put in the mount, and bam, I have knock. Right now I have ecmlink setup so that it ignores knock below 4k rpm or 40% throttle. And as SOON as I pass that threshold, I have knock. This was never an issue before the mount was installed.

I recently pulled my motor and transmission because I blew my center diff and about to have it welded. Figured it'd be a good time to do a balance shaft delete, etc., and realized that every tooth on the balance shaft belt was gone. Surprised it didn't break but it was obviously not spinning the front shaft. I'd imagine that having only the rear shaft spinning was maybe causing some issues with loss of power and possibly causing my knock sensor to pick up all the vibration as knock??? Either way, that problem will be fixed and hope I notice a huge difference when the motor is back in. Guess we'll see.
