so i', already dong some mods to my car. i have a fresh block. i have 2G pistons for it and am ordering new rings+bearing and ARP rod bolts. i have a new head and have ARP head studs with a MLS headgasket . and bolt on ihave for it so far is a small 16g turbo, 2g manilfold, evo8 fuelinjectors, and a boost controller. so what fuelpump should i get and how much of a gain will i get from these mods.

Depends, if you want a walbro 190 which would do fine, you wouldn't need a fpr. if you wanted to get a 255 you would need to get a fpr. You don't need a 255 with a fpr seeing your mods, but it's definetly not a bad thing to have extra fuel.

If you plan on uping boost or getting bigger fuel injestors down the line.I would deff. go with the 255 and get an afpr.The 255 is only a few bucks more.

The only way to know would be to put the vehicle on a dyno.

Agreed.. until then, it's just bench racing.

Also, the 190 thing may or may not be true. He'll need to check fuel pressure after getting the 190 in. Funny how people just bung in a new fuel pump, and because the car starts and runs 'okay', they assume their fuel pressure is where it's supposed to be, and never actually CHECK.

Oh, and what are you using to control those Evo injectors? A good tune will make more power than the best parts in the world with a crappy one. And tossing on larger injectors without any way to dial them down would count as a 'REALLY crap tune'.

As talesin stated above you NEED something to tune with.
I seen a s-afc on ebay for $100 with box and papers.The blu screen one.
