actually, i met this scammer.. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/2368598056.html only a day ago. trust me im not going to be like him. actually im messing with him right now, i have the emails if you would like to see them, yes its the same car from the picture, it is a guy on this site who actually owns the car now

Ya just follow the normal upgrade path for the link I posted earlier...as for cost, if your patient you can get good deals on the forums.
And for looks, just do your own thing and spend what you think is worth it, it is your car after all.

i have good intentions, on how to make my car amazing to drive and look at, im sorry you think everyone in the world is out to get you, i mean hey, i could just sell my car and buy a nice 350z for under 20,000, but am i going to do that? no, im looking for help.

For 20 grand you could do a lot. I had a friend have a built motor (Lucas English built it for him) and made 505 HP on low boost with a GT35R for just over 8 grand. Granted it was because he shopped around for a while.

Just don't forget your suspension!

its been meticulously maintained, by the previous owner, then by me. from his word. it has 15x,xxx miles, i forgot exact mileage. ive had it inspected over and over in the past year and a half because my parent works at a dealership.

Well you picked a good choice in DSM's especially since your aware it'd going to cost! but there's really no direct answer for your question regarding adequate hp on a dd. There's so many variables and different ways to achieve 300 hp.
What I'm doing is starting with the basics and progressively adding more until I'm comfortable with where I'm at. But having a ballpark of where you want to end up helps you decide what parts to buy.

You can't go wrong with a 16g and supporting mods. It's the most common way to go IMO

I like dsm's, but it depends what year supra you are looking at. And, if I was you and had that money to mod a dsm, I would sell that gs-t and get a gsx. AWD is so freaking awesome.

I have an 04 mustang gt with ~300rwhp and my gf has a 99 gsx with ~300awhp, she SMOKES me out of the hole because of the AWD, I can't catch up either because shes so much lighter that my mustang. Makes me cry sometimes.

What are you on? DSM's are turning into cult cars. Half the members on this board could've bought a supra with all the money they put into these cars. Your beating a beaten dead horse..

Evo's are A targa top supra would be sexy as hell. If i had 20k to drop id get the supra and never look back haha. Would keep the 1g for a track car ofcourse

This person and I have been exchanging a few emails because I was interested in the car and they didn't really answer the questions I had, just said, "need to sell ASAP" and so on and it seemed really fishy.

Get an awd, thow in a E3 16g with supporting mods and you'll have a nice fun DD around 300whp. (properly tuned and maintained of course).
